The pūteketeke or the great crested grebe - Our next Cubic Zoo resident AND the Bird of the Century! Sometimes known as the "weird puking bird" or the "one with the strange mating dance" this bird rose to unheard of popularity thanks to John Oliver and "Last Week Tonight's" campaign to make this bird the New Zeland's Bird of the Century. It's beauty, it's mullet, it's pomp, and it's flair makes it a perfect addition to the Cubic Zoo!
